This relates to reporting a footpath problem though is valid for any other reason for knowing your grid reference.
1. If using Pathwatch App
The App will include the grid reference in the reports.
Unfortunately it doesn't show the grid reference so can't help if reporting elsewhere.
2. Viewranger App
If you use the Viewranger App, open it and centre where you are.
The grid reference is in the top left corner.
(Note:it would be good to provide an 8 digit reference.
Click settings=>settings=>display=>Coordinate type=>National 8 digit.)
3. Load the "OS Locate App"
This is a very simple App that shows the current grid reference (and more)
It provides 6 digit accuracy.
4. OS Maps App
Unfortunately this does not display a grid reference.
5. StreetMap
This is a web page so you would need to access the web on your phone
(or at home later)
Open www.streetmap.co.uk (right click on this link and Open .....)
Enter some location near the footpath issue
Click on "Move Arrow"
Click on the map wheree the footpath issue is
At the centre bottom of the map click on the HERE in the

6. Find it on a Paper Map.

7. Other Sources
There are many other web pages to help with grid references.
Here are a couple. Do use the feedback form to say which you use or prefer.
