8. Submit a Walk You can offer a walk to add to the walk programme.
The first three are provided by a tool that shows a map of where the walk is (UK and overseas) so you can see where they are and either the table or a popup will give access to some of:
- a GPX track for use on
- A walk description
- A video of the walk (home made variable quality)
There is also a combined "All Options" Map & List holding all the information with ability to filter.
The Walk Descriptions are fully documented walks with grid references, pictures, textual descriptions, and GPX files. They can be printed or downloaded to phone, tablet, computer.
A single description often contains multiple optional routes.
The Recorded Tracks are GPX of real walks. (some are poor quality due to satellite issues)
The Videos are home made, with music, can be less than a minute or a lot longer, variable quality, (not Julia Bradbury!) but give an idea of the nature of the walk.
The earlier walks may have only a video and a simple map of the walk.
