About Us
The Mid Lancashire Area Ramblers comprises eight Ramblers groups. Working together the groups provide around forty walks a month (View our area's walk programme). The groups are also involved in the ongoing monitoring of the footpath networks, encouraging their maintenance and enhancement.
The Ramblers is Britain's walking charity. We do all we can to ensure everyone, everywhere can enjoy walking in nature. We are dedicated to protecting footpaths and other places to which the public has a right of way or access on foot.
The Ramblers in the UK (England, Scotland, and Wales) has more than 120,000 members in about 50 Areas and over 500 local groups.
